

A steady day for Aprilia Tuareg Racing at the 2026 Africa Eco Race
JACOPO CERUTTI FINISHES THIRD AFTER THE SIXTH STAGE IN THE +650 TWIN-CYLINDER CATEGORY AND TAKES THE CLASS LEAD
Aprilia Tuareg Racing’s adventure at the Africa Eco Race continues. Today marked the conclusion of the sixth stage, which led teams and riders through the Mauritanian dunes on a fast route with off-road sections, covering a total of 590 km from Dakhla to Chami.
Riding his Aprilia Tuareg Rally, Jacopo Cerutti finished the stage in third place in the twin-cylinder class. This result puts him back in the lead of the general category standings, with a 39” lead over his closest rival.
Marco Menichini adopted a strategic approach, maintaining sixth place in the class standings and eighth place overall. Meanwhile, Francesco Montanari had a day of adjustment, completing the sixth stage in twelfth position in the twin-cylinder class.

“Today’s stage was positive overall. I tried to maintain a steady pace throughout the special stage without pushing myself too hard, and tomorrow we will start in a good position. The race is still long: I’m doing my best to ride well and avoid mistakes; we’ll see what the final result is”.
