Aprilia Racing ready for the second half of the 2025 season

MARCO BEZZECCHI AND JORGE MARTÍN BACK ON TRACK FOR THE AUSTRIAN GP

As the summer break comes to an end, Aprilia Racing is ready for the challenge in Styria. This marks the thirteenth GP of the season, scheduled for this weekend. Their riders are Marco Bezzecchi, fresh from a podium finish in Brno, and Jorge Martín.

Marco Bezzecchi is keen to confirm his good form after a weekend in Brno as protagonist. He ended with a second-place finish in the long race.

On the other side of the garage, Jorge Martín will be continuing his path of adapting to the RS-GP25. He has already demonstrated encouraging signs in Brno, where he took home his first points of the season.

The Red Bull Ring is a circuit known for its ‘stop-and-go’ nature. Historically, tracks of this kind have posed a significant challenge for Aprilia Racing. The best result for the Noale-based manufacturer at this track remains the third place achieved in last year’s sprint.

Previously known as the Österreichring, this historic circuit is located in Austria, specifically in the Styria region. The track is 4.35 km long and has 10 turns. Furthermore, there is a difference of 65 metres between the lowest and highest point.

From 2022, in order to enhance safety, a chicane was introduced on turn 2. This changes the layout compared with the one used in Formula 1.

MARCO BEZZECCHI

I’m extremely happy to finally be back on the track after the summer break. I am really keen to be back on the bike. I like the track in Austria with its many hard braking sections. We’ll try to have another good weekend, picking up where we left off and continuing to work well with the team and have fun in the saddle.”

JORGE MARTÍN

I can’t wait to get to Austria and to get back on the Aprilia. I worked hard this summer, and it was extremely intense, so I think I’m even more ready than I was in Brno. Now the goal is to improve along with the team and to keep getting to know one another, because we still have a lot of season ahead of us. We’ll continue growing together to achieve results as soon as possible.
