Avenrà unveils HEL Edition electric superbike concept
New electric superbike concept targets 90 kW, a 150 mph top speed and up to 400 miles of range in ECO mode
Avenrà has revealed the HEL Edition, a new electric superbike concept developed in collaboration with British engineering specialist HEL Performance.
The project aims to take the brand’s EVO platform in a more aggressive direction, with a striking black-and-red design and performance targets that include 90 kW of peak power, 0–60 mph in approximately 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 150 mph.
The HEL Edition takes its name from the extensive involvement of HEL Performance, which is set to manufacture key chassis and braking components. The company will produce the chassis, swingarms, headstock, suspension mounts and axles, alongside brake lines, calipers, levers and reservoirs.
The chassis, swingarms and headstock will also be engineered in the UK, placing British engineering at the heart of the project.

Ambitious performance targets
Avenrà’s development brief includes twin 11.5 kWh battery packs, giving the HEL Edition a combined capacity of 23 kWh. The manufacturer is targeting an ECO range of up to 400 miles, based on riding at a steady 40 mph.
The proposed specification also includes a full HEL Performance braking package with 330 mm front discs, Öhlins suspension and an actively cooled HyperCore 1800 controller.
Power will come from a hub motor featuring magnetic-fluid cooling and an external heatsink, while a lightweight alloy chassis and revised aerodynamics are intended to complete the package.
All performance figures and equipment remain development targets rather than confirmed production specifications.

One-off prototype planned
Avenrà’s next step is to build a single road-legal prototype, with testing and the necessary road approval to follow.
Once these stages are complete, the company intends to give dealers, journalists, media creators and customers the opportunity to experience the motorcycle. Feedback from those experiences will help determine the final production specification.
If the development programme proves successful, the engineering behind the HEL Edition could also provide the foundation for future Avenrà models.
Paul Cummins, Founder and CEO of Avenrà, said: “This is the HEL Edition right down to its bones. HEL will produce the core chassis components and braking hardware. We want that engineering to be felt every time a rider turns in or reaches for the brakes.”
He added: “The next step is to build it, test it and let people experience it. We want the excitement, the questions and the honest feedback. Riders will have a voice in what the production version becomes.”
The HEL Edition remains a development concept, with its appearance, components and specifications subject to change as engineering, testing and validation progress.
The 400-mile range target applies specifically to steady 40 mph riding in ECO mode and should not be taken as a measured mixed-use or motorway range figure. Actual range will depend on riding speed, conditions, rider load and the motorcycle’s final configuration.
