The bike you see here is the fusion of BSA’s heritage and BAAK’s craftsmanship, creating a one-of-a-kind motorcycle experience.

Founded in 2012 by Rémi Reguin, BAAK is a French ‘Restomod’ workshop specializing in the customization of motorcycles, cars, and accessories. With strong artisanal expertise, the workshop transforms iconic models such as Triumph, Moto Guzzi, Royal Enfield, BSA. They also work with classic cars like the Land Rover Defender, Austin Mini, and Méhari.

But BAAK is more than just a brand; it’s a way of life, driven by values of harmony, balance, freedom, and elegance. Its mission is to create unique, aesthetic objects designed to provide a true sense of fulfilment.

At its peak in the 1950s, BSA was the world’s largest motorcycle producer. BSA Company Ltd, operating under the name BSA Motorcycles, is a motorcycle manufacturer acquired in October 2016 by Classic Legends Pvt Ltd.

This company is a subsidiary of the Indian-based Mahindra Group.

Their vision is to build motorcycles that retain the DNA of the original BSA brand, rooted in Birmingham. 2023 marked the return of this legendary brand. Their first launch, the single-cylinder 650 Gold Star, represents the rebirth of an icon as a motorcycle that is both classic and modern.

BAAK has drawn inspiration from the legendary British brand BSA to present its own vision of the iconic 650 Gold Star model. This project embodies the perfect fusion between BSA’s classic heritage and BAAK’s signature design. A set of six accessories is available for purchase online directly from BAAK. Soon, they will be offered through the BSA network across Europe.

The result? A Retro Touring version of the 650 Gold Star! Retro Touring is the expression of a bygone era, brought back to life. Inspired by the motorcycles of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and cherished at gatherings like the Elefantentreffen.
