Ducati announces new Diavel S for 2019
Superbike was lucky enough to see a closed-door preview of the new Diavel at World Ducati Week (WDW) at Misano in July. We couldn’t take photos – or really say anything at all about it – but now we can, because Ducati has just announced it at its World Premiere 2019 event in Milan.
The power-bruiser-cruiser for 2019 sees a good few updates…
- 1260 DVT engine (same as in used in the Multistrada 1260) – 159HP / 95 lb-ft torque
- Cornering ABS
- Cruise control
- Power modes
- Riding modes
- 218kg dry
There’s an S version, too, which adds some bling:
- Ohlins
- M50 brakes
- Quickshifter
