Ducati Multistrada V2 S: International Launch

The new Ducati Multistrada V2 S is a completely new product to the Ducati roster, with the twin engine it has been redesigned while keeping the Ducati essence of adventure, comfort and premium yet functional design.

The new Multistrada V2 S has taken to the tarmac of Valencia this week for the international launch. The bike, Ducati are saying is a league of its own with a new top speed of 110bhp, wet weight without fuel of just 202kg and new monocoque frame and 19″ front wheel transmit agility.

Available from just £16,330, we’re eagerly awaiting the test feedback from our team on this cracking new motorcycle. It’s being deemed the lightest, most agile Multistrada ever. The suspension lowers at the press of a button when coming to a halt.

So, let’s take a look at the technical side of the new V2 S: Front brake – 2 x Ø 320 mm semi-floating discs, radially mounted Brembo monobloc 4-piston 2-pad calipers, radial master cylinder, Cornering ABS.

The rear brake – Ø 265 mm disc, Brembo 2-piston floating calliper, Cornering ABS.

Then, we have the suspensions: Front Suspension – Ø 45 mm fully adjustable USD fork, electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment with Ducati Skyhook Suspension.

So onto the rear suspension – Fully adjustable monoshock, electronic adjustment with Ducati Skyhook Suspension, aluminium double-sided swingarm.
