Hickman and Todd split from FHO RACING for 2025

Faye Ho has announced her plans for this year which is without Peter Hickman and Davey Todd.

It’s been announced the pair will now be backed by BMW Motorrad UK/BMW Motorrad Motorsport. In the last few weeks, Hickman had denied any knowledge of rumours FHO were folding as suspicion grew amongst fans.

Davey Todd – Would’ve been the new edition to FHO for 2025

The 16 TT wins between the duo were not enough to keep Faye Ho from announcing the running of a single-man British Superbike campaign. This campaign is lead by IDM Superbike champion Ilya Mikhalchik.

Peter Hickman, long-standing rider for Faye’s team said:

“I want to to say a massive thank you to Faye / FHO Racing for everything she has done for me over the last four years.

Hickman follows: “As is normal with racing we’ve had mega highs and disappointing lows throughout. But FHO has and always will be a huge part of my racing career, and I’m forever grateful for that opportunity.

Now starts another new chapter with teammate Davey Todd at 8Ten Racing and BMW Motorrad UK. Alongside BMW Motorrad Motorsport, more news to come later this month. But to say I’m excited would be an understatement”.

The new team, named “8Ten Racing” will be officially launched on 26th February. It is rumoured to be made up of a lot of the former FHO mechanics/crew chiefs.

Speaking about the decision, Ho commented: “I am a strong advocate of the British Superbike Championship, one of the most entertaining and competitive series in the world.”

“However, with my long-term goals looking to push motorsports activities in Asia, as well as to keep supporting young women with opportunities in racing. I’ve come to realise I cannot fully commit to the previous levels of time that I have given to BSB and road racing since becoming team owner in 2021. This is due to additional commitments I have back at home in Macau.”

Ilya Mikhalchik – FHO Racing’s single man team for BSB 2025

We wish everyone a safe and thrilling season. We look forward to welcoming Ilya to the British Superbike paddock. As ever, we can’t wait to see what Davey and Pete will achieve with 8Ten Racing for 2025.
