Lord Drake Kustoms latest Lord Drake Kustoms latest Sportster creation takes on trad style – Art, Passion and Engineering.

The ‘Iron 1925’ is how Fran Manen (Spanish motorcycle customizer and owner of Lord Drake Kustoms) likes to blend art, passion, and engineering to create customized motorcycles that are much more than vehicles.

They are true collector’s pieces with their own soul!

Lord Drake Kustoms specialize in transforming and customizing Harley motorcycles.

This new project called ‘Iron 1925’, is a testament to their dedication to excellence and attention to detail.

The base is a 2018 Sportster Iron 883, inspired by the classic Harley-Davidson models of 1925.

It combines vintage style with modern performance, offering a unique experience for lovers of customized motorcycles.

Art on Two Wheels.

Manen said: “Our mission is to turn ordinary motorcycles into true works of art on two wheels, and the ‘Iron 1925’ is an example of that, meticulously customized in our specialized Harley-Davidson workshop in Spain.”

The first thing Fran Manen (owner of LDK) did was reconfigure the riding position, maintaining the balance between comfort and classic style.

Then came the wheel replacement, with new units equipped with spokes and vintage-style tires to enhance the authenticity of the design.

The black rims add another detail that complements the motorcycle’s overall aesthetic.

The design of this retro-vintage custom bike includes details that evoke the aesthetics of the 1920s.

Such as the classic-tone paint scheme in olive green, combined with black and red pinstriping reminiscent of early 20th-century Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Not to mention the classic Harley Davidson logo in red, true to the retro style, airbrushed onto the custom-type gas tank!

Paying Homage.

Other notable details include the; handcrafted leather seat for the Sportster, decorative elements paying homage to the historic 1925 models such as; the front fender license plate holder, the vintage speedometer (by Motogadget), and the exhaust system modifications to improve performance and sound while giving it a more retro appearance.

  • This creation is based on a Sportster Iron 883, reinvented to combine 1920s vintage styling with contemporary performance. Major design features include;
  • Reconfigured driving position: balancing comfort and classic aesthetics.
  • Spoked wheels and vintage tyres: reinforcing the authenticity of the retro design.
  • Black wheels: a modern touch that complements the overall style

Every component of this Harley Davidson has been meticulously selected and modified to offer a unique experience in both design and functionality. The finish includes details such as:

  • Handcrafted leather seat:specially designed for Sportster.
  • Vintage odometer watch: from Motogadget for an authentic look.
  • Exhaust modifications: improving performance, sound and appearance.

The ‘Iron 1925’ is distinguished by its olive-green paintwork, accented with black and red pinstriping, which pays homage to classic Harley Davidson designs for road and track.

In addition, the classic Harley Davidson logo, airbrushed on the fuel tank, captures the retro vintage essence of early 20th century motorbikes.

Iron 1925 is a commissioned project for an LDK client in Portugal and every detail has been carefully planned and executed to ensure the motorcycle is not only visually stunning but also functional and comfortable for daily use.

LDK take pride in working closely with their clients to create unique bikes that reflect their individual tastes and styles.

Iron 1925 is a clear example of what can be achieved when creativity, technical skill, and an unwavering passion for customized motorcycles come together.
