Get ready for high octane action, the thrill of the chase, and a weekend of full-throttle entertainment. The British Grand Prix MotoGP™ is set to light up Silverstone from 7–9 August 2026.*
The first major event announcement of Silverstone’s 2026 calendar has been revealed with this news. Expect world-class racing, live music, family fun, and an electric atmosphere from start to finish.
Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports: “Announcing our return to a track is always exciting. It starts the countdown to another fantastic Grand Prix. After discussions with Silverstone, we’ve agreed on a return to August. We hope fans will enjoy the chance to come and enjoy this classic venue in high summer. It is one of the first dates to be confirmed for next year. It’s exciting news for fans in the UK. It is also exciting for all those around the world who we know are always eager to get a glimpse of the next season’s calendar.”
Stuart Pringle, Chief Executive Officer, Silverstone: “We’re excited to be announcing a return to August for MotoGP in 2026. We listened to feedback from the fans. Bringing the summer vibe back to the British Grand Prix will be a popular move. We are already working on putting together another great weekend of MotoGP action.
