McAMS Racing Set Sights on Strong Knockhill Return
This weekend, McAMS Racing and Danny Kent head north for Round 4 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. The series returns to the stunning Knockhill circuit in Scotland.
Following a challenging yet progressive outing at Snetterton, the family-run squad is looking to continue their upward trajectory. They aim for another key weekend of development.
So far in their 2025 campaign, Kent and the McAMS-backed team have recorded a best finish of sixth. This was achieved at both Oulton Park and Snetterton. As the season gains momentum, the team is eager to build on the progress made during the early rounds.
Knockhill holds positive memories for the team, with Kent delivering a standout performance at the venue in 2024. He was fighting at the front and securing a podium in the third and final race of the weekend.
Ahead of this weekend’s action, the team completed a productive test at Knockhill. They aimed to gain an early advantage and arrive well-prepared for Free Practice 1 on Friday afternoon. A triple-header awaits, and McAMS Racing are firmly focused on returning to the sharp end of the field. They continue their progress and strive for improved results and more points for the standings.
Danny Kent
McAMS Racing, Rider
“I’m really looking forward to getting back to Knockhill, it’s a circuit I enjoy and one where we’ve had success before. We’ve made steady improvements over the first few rounds, and after a solid test here, I feel like we’re in a good place to keep that momentum going. The goal is to be fighting closer to the front and continue building on what we’ve learned so far this season.”
Tim Martin
McAMS Racing, Team Owner
“Knockhill has been a strong circuit for us in the past, and we’re heading into this weekend feeling positive after a productive test here recently. The team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes, and while we know there’s still progress to be made, we’re confident in the direction we’re heading. This round is another opportunity to take a step forward, and we’re looking forward to seeing what Danny can do.”
