Merlin Announce Their New Collection of ECE 22.06 Motorcycle Helmets
In 2025 Merlin launched their inaugural collection of motorcycle helmets. With the pursuit to build premium head to toe protection Merlin made a commitment to design and develop a range of outstanding products for riders and pillions, built around innovation, design and safety. The brand new collection of ECE 22.06 helmets was introduced and the feedback from our retail partners, press and customers was incredible.
Our unrelenting drive to continue to develop this category sees Merlin launch the latest collection of helmets, expanding existing styles with new colours and graphics as well as the introduction of an all-new product; the adventure and trail focused Recon Enduro Helmet.

Designed for off road, rally and adventure use, the Recon strips things back to the essentials with a pure enduro configuration; no visor, just a wide eye port designed for goggles and uncompromised visibility on technical trails.
Available in both fibreglass and carbon fibre constructions, the lightweight shell uses a multi layered structure bonded with high strength resin to deliver exceptional durability without excess weight. Its intermediate oval shape ensures a secure, balanced fit for long days in the saddle. A traditional double D-ring fastening keeps the helmet firmly in place through demanding riding conditions, while a magnetic attaching liner makes removal and washing super easy. The liner also features a quick release safety mechanism.
Large intake vents, internal air channels and exhaust ports work together to keep air moving through the helmet during slower technical sections as well as high speed open trails. The adjustable peak is designed to reduce lift while deflecting debris, making the Recon a dependable companion whether navigating forest tracks, desert stages or remote backcountry routes.
Each graphic finish is developed in collaboration with Franzan Design in Italy, specialists behind some of the world’s most recognisable helmet graphics for over 15 years; bringing together technical performance with a distinctive visual identity.

Designed for both urban and retro riders who are looking for a paired back, classic look with a low-profile shell that sits lower on the brow than most jet helmets, creating a sleek, flattering fit with an intermediate oval shape for superior comfort. For 2026 we have added additional fibreglass colours and graphics, as well as a Matt Carbon Fibre option.
Front studs and a rear leather button strap (not available on Naked styles) allow for easy pairing with goggles or snap-on visors (sold separately). The Blackbird fastens securely with a classic double D-ring buckle, integrated into a premium leather and Amara liner that can be removed for washing. For added comfort, the liner is specially designed to accommodate sunglasses, preventing pressure on the sides of your head.

Revival Vintage Full Face Helmet – Nardo Grey

Merlin’s Revival full-face helmet blends sports heritage style with modern ECE 22.06 protection. For Spring Summer 2026 the Nardo Grey colourway is added to the collection, crafted from lightweight fibreglass in an intermediate oval shape for a comfortable, secure fit. Its multi-layered fibreglass shell is bonded with military-grade resin, offering an ideal balance of durability and lightness.
For a secure fit, the Revival fastens with a traditional double D-ring buckle, integrated into a premium leather and Amara liner that can be removed for washing. The UV-resistant visor features Pinlock® pins, and an OptiClear® anti-fog insert is included for all-weather clarity.
Designed with rider comfort in mind, the liner accommodates sunglasses without pressure on the temples, while built-in recesses allow for intercom earphones. Merlin-branded visor buttons, ventilation points, and EPS channelling enhance airflow and overall performance.
The Revival is also available in six additional graphic/colour fibreglass options as well as a full 3K carbon fibre.
