MOTOGP RACE RESULTS: ROUND 3 CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS

It was an unforgettable race at COTA for many reasons this weekend! We had a sprinting race ahead from the grid which delayed the start time. Additionally, we had a crash from the safety car and ViƱales left looking up and down the grid for his KTM! MotoGP Race results are below:

Action packed to say the absolute least. The weather was on nobody’s side in Texas. The former “King of COTA” led the race with an awesome hole shot but wasn’t able to end the bride. He overcooked the corner, which sent him sliding off his Ducati Lenovo machine.

This didn’t stop eagle-eyed Alex Marquez. Fans forget he is a 2x world champion within his own right. He sunk his teeth into the fight to chase Pecco. But Pecco did manage to reign supreme at the end of the race, coming in with his first win of 2025. This was a much needed takeaway for the Italian former world champion.

It was a bright weekend for the Pertamina VR46 boys, who finished a respectable 3rd and 4th position. Ducati machinery made up the top 4 spots in the table while Miller was onboard the Yamaha. It had gone well all weekend alongside Quartararo, who finished a little further down the table. Unfortunately, he had a crash on the sighting lap which would have left him ever so slightly flustered amongst the chaos.

It was a top 10 joy for Bezzecchi, who got a 6th place finish. His team-mate Jorge Martin, of course, is still world champion but out with an injury. Meanwhile, team test rider Lorenzo Savadori brought up the rear end in 15th position.

It was an. incredible mid-pack battle between the KTM’s, Honda’s and Ducati’s. Pedro Acosta being another to bite the dust and ever so accordingly getting it wrong ending in a slide.

One of the SuperBike riders of the day without a shadow of a doubt has to be Fermin Aldeguer. Despite prematurely ending his race, he was tussling with the veterans on race day. This showed everyone just why he’s onboard that Gresini Ducati machine.

What did you think of the COTA GP? As they say, it’s always memorable in Texas. #KeepAustinWEIRD!
