New challenge for Aprilia Racing at Balaton Park
MARCO BEZZECCHI AND JORGE MARTÍN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HUNGARY
With the Austrian Grand Prix in the books, Aprilia Racing is ready to get back on the track for the fourteenth round of the season. This time it will be on a brand-new track – Balaton Park in Hungary. Defending the colours of the Noale-based Manufacturer are Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín.
Fresh from the excellent third place he earned in the Austrian race, Marco Bezzecchi is headed to Hungary! Determined to confirm his competitiveness. In fact, the podium at the Red Bull Ring was his sixth of the season. This includes a victory taken in Silverstone, all a testament to the great feeling he has built with his RS-GP.
On the other side of the garage, Martín will be pursuing his path of adapting to the RS-GP25. This process is continuing to show encouraging signs and consistent growth.
Balaton Park opened in 2023. Located near Lake Balaton, Hungary. From this year, it will officially be on the MotoGP calendar. This marks the return of the premiere category to Hungary after a long, 33-year absence. The track stretches out 4.08 km and has a total of 17 turns – ten lefthanders and seven righthanders.

“Balaton will be interesting. It’s always nice to take on a new track and I’m curious to discover it. We are coming from a series of positive results and, as always, we’ll be trying to work hard to give it our all in Hungary too.”

“I’m headed to Balaton after a positive weekend, where I started understanding a lot of things about the bike and building a bit of feeling. I need to remember that I’ve only ridden two races with the RS-GP25 and I need time, although it isn’t always easy to accept being behind when I’m giving one hundred percent. The goal at Balaton will be to continue growing on a track that is new for everyone. Getting kilometres in will be especially important, as well as getting increasingly closer to a good feeling, because we have incredibly huge potential.”
