New Kawasaki Z900 voice control feature and more!
The innovative Z900 voice control feature is just part of the wow factor this week as we’ve seen the European launch of the new Kawasaki Z900 for 2025, which comes with a host of new features across the variations.
Compared closely to the recently launched Honda Hornet, the Kawasaki comes with a few technical upgrades from its predecessor. It comes as the standard version and the SE version, let’s break down the difference:
Kawasaki Z900 Standard – from £9,199.00
- Engine type: Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four
- Front brakes: Dual semi-floating 300 mm discs. Caliper: Dual radial-mount, opposed 4-piston
- Rear brakes: Single 250 mm disc. Caliper: Single-piston
- Front suspension: 41 mm inverted fork with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability
- Rear suspension: Horizontal Back-link with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability

- Front suspension: 41 mm inverted fork with compression and rebound damping and spring preload adjustability
- Rear suspension: Horizontal Back-link, Öhlins S46 gas-charged shock with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability
- Maximum power: 91.0 kW {124 PS} / 9,500 rpm
One of the most popular talking points at the Spanish press launch was the interesting Z900 voice control feature! In a short Instagram story from 44Teeth, it showed the demonstrator saying to the stationary motorcycle “Hey Kawasaki, how’s my fuel?” to which the bike responded with the amount that was left. He also asked the motorcycle to switch ride modes and also navigation.
