John Chapman from Birmingham has won the first prize of a genuine 1962 BSA Rocket Goldstar 650cc motorcycle, restored by The National Motorcycle Museum, in the National Motorcycle Museum’s summer raffle.

The winning tickets were drawn on stage by Henry Cole on Sunday, October 27 at the Museum LIVE event. Second place, a Sealey Tools/NMM voucher worth £1500 went to Roy Gameson from Stafford and the third place prize of a Sealey ‘Patriot’ roll tool cabinet was won by Christine Whitemore from Leicestershire.

Following on from its summer raffle draw results, the National Motorcycle Museum has announced details of its winter raffle, which runs from October 2024 until April 2025, with the top prize of a genuine 1972 Norton Commando Norvil 750cc Production Race Motorcycle. The bike is a road registered  Norvil Commando “yellow peril” production racer.  Second prize is a Sealey Tool/NMM voucher worth £1500, to be purchased via The National Motorcycle Museum shop, and third place prize is a Sealey ‘Patriot’ roll tool cabinet (RRP £719.95), with the winner’s choice of one of five flag designs including-Union Jack, George Cross, Scotland, Wales & Ireland.

The draw will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the International Classic Motorcycle Show, Stafford. Tickets cost £2.00 each & will be distributed during November/December 2024 via subscription copies of the specialist press. Tickets may also be purchased on-line by visiting www.thenmm.co.uk
