2,134,049 – 163,558 fans have come to celebrate the San Marino GP – making it the best-attended Misano ever. That also brings MotoGP to over 2 million spectators so far in 2024: 2,134,049.
146 – This is Marc Marquez’ 146th Grand Prix podium, which is just six fewer than Jorge Lorenzo, who is fourth on the list of riders with most podiums. This is also his 107th premier class podium, five fewer than Dani Pedrosa, who is third on the list of riders with most premier class podiums.
87 – Marquez took his first back-to-back Grand Prix wins since the 2021 Americas and Emilia-Romagna GPs. Marquez is only the second rider to take back-to-back MotoGP GP wins so far this year, along with Francesco Bagnaia. This is the 87th win in Marquez’s GP career, three less than Angel Nieto, who is third on the all-time list behind Giacomo Agostini (122 wins) and Valentino Rossi (115).
61 – This is Marquez’ 61st win in the premier class, which is just seven less than Agostini, who is second behind Rossi (89 wins) on the list of the most successful riders in the premier class.
45 – Francesco Bagnaia finished P2 for his 45th podium in what was his 99th race in MotoGP, a podium rate of 45.5%.
18 – This is Ducati’s 10th win in a row and with Marquez, Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini, this is Ducati’s 18th podium lockout. They become the manufacturer with most MotoGP podium lockouts (1-2-3 finishes), taking the record from Honda (17).
7 – Jorge Martin finished P15 for his worst finish across the line in a Grand Prix race since he finished P22 in Jerez in 2022. He is now leading the Championship by only seven points, losing 19 to Bagnaia in the flag-to- flag gamble.
7 – Fabio Quartararo finished P7, equalling his and Yamaha’s best result so far this year from Portugal and going two better than his P9 on Saturday.
4 – Misano became the fourth track on which Marc Marquez has taken five or more wins since he stepped up to MotoGP in 2013, behind Sachsenring (8 wins), Austin (7) and Aragon (6). Misano is the only one that’s clockwise.
4 – Bastianini finished third, taking his fourth podium on his fourth visit to Misano in MotoGP.
