Upcoming Race – Grand Prix of Austria
- The Triumph-powered Moto2™ field returns after the summer break and heads to Austria’s Red Bull Ring. The 4.35km Styrian circuit features eight right-hand corners and three lefts, with an altitude difference of 65m and an 810m straight. With several fast straights and heavy acceleration zones, the Triumph Street Triple 765 engine’s strong mid-range torque and punchy top-end power make it perfectly suited to the demands of the track.
- The Red Bull Ring is one of the circuits on the calendar with a high number of gear changes, where in 2024 the riders changed gear an average of 33 times per lap. This is a circuit where first gear is used (6.91% of a lap), third gear is used the most at 34.72% of a lap, whereas top gear was used for 3.71% of a lap.
- Celestino Vietti was victorious in 2024, and his best-race lap record from 2022 still stands (1’34.073). Alongside Vietti on the podium last year was Alonso Lopez Spa and Jake Dixon.

- Winner: 7 points – Joe Robers for his return to form and claiming his first victory of the season
- Second: 6 points – Barry Baltus for his strong weekend including his first-ever pole position and all-time lap record, as well as finishing in second place
- Third: 5 points – Daniel Holgado for a stand out rookie ride to finish in fourth place
