Upcoming race – Grand Prix of the United Kingdom
- We go from one of the shortest circuits on the calendar in Le Mans (4.19km), to the longest at Silverstone (5.9km). The famous British circuit has 10 right hand corners and eight left with a longest straight of 770m.
- Silverstone’s combination of long straights and high-speed direction changes means midrange torque and throttle response are key —and both are areas where Triumph’s 765cc triple excels, delivering consistent drive out of corners and into acceleration zones. Its linear power delivery and strong engine braking also give riders the control and confidence needed for fast transitions through complex sections like Maggots and Becketts.
- In 2024, Ai Ogura set a new all-time lap record at Silverstone of 2m 02.940 and Aron Canet set a new race lap record of 2m 03.984.
- Riders changed gear an average of 29-31 times per lap in 2024. First gear wasn’t used and riders spent the majority of a lap in third and second gear (43.35% and 30.03% respectively).
- In 2024, the average lap speed at Silverstone was 166.0 km/h and the top speed recorded was 284.2 km/h (Celestino Vietti during the race).

- Winner: 7 points – Manuel Gonzalez earned maximum points again for a perfect weekend—setting a new all-time lap record, securing his fifth pole in six races, and claiming a third victory of the season.
- Second: 6 points – Barry Baltus after he secured back-to-back second places with a spectacular ride—plus matching his best-ever qualifying result, overcoming a tough start, and reeling in Gonzalez to challenge for the win.
- Third: 5 points – Aron Canet after he fought back from 10th to claim his third podium of the season, pulling off an incredible save during an intense battle with Moreira and delivering a stunning comeback ride.
