The Yamaha MX Pro Tour returns to the UK on September 27 to 29, 2024, offering motocross enthusiasts the chance to ride the 2025 YZ450F and YZ250F, plus other key models in the Yamaha Off-Road Competition line-up.
This year’s event takes place at the Moto101 circuit, just off the A1 near Grantham with three-action packed days planned. On Friday 27th September, slots are available exclusively through pre-booking via Yamaha Off-Road dealers. On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September, anyone attending the general practice day at Moto101 can book a test ride on a first-come, first-served basis.
The YZ450F is Yamaha’s lightest, slimmest, sharpest, and fastest 450cc motocross bike yet, with proven success in MXGP and SX. Its powerful reverse-head engine, advanced chassis, and cutting-edge electronics are designed to elevate a rider’s performance and standings in any championship.
The bike’s linear power delivery provides the control needed for faster lap times, while the lightweight aluminium frame and top-tier KYB suspension offer precise cornering and straight-line stability. Combined with compact bodywork and optimized ergonomics, the YZ450F ensures maximum rider mobility and control in all situations.
The other highlight of this year’s MX Pro Tour is the 2025 YZ250F. A top choice for riders seeking a perfect blend of controllable power, agile handling, and Yamaha durability, the latest model is lighter, sharper, and more advanced, with a Grand Prix-inspired chassis, compact bodywork, and an upgraded engine.
Borrowing the championship-winning YZ450F chassis, it features revised geometry, a new rear suspension linkage, and updated factory settings for enhanced cornering traction. The ultra-slim bodywork and flatter seat allow quick weight shifts, while the refined ECU and air management system deliver smooth power. The redesigned exhaust meets noise regulations, making the YZ250F even more track-ready.
Expert technicians will be on-site to offer technical advice. A professional photography service will be available, plus riders can benefit from instruction by AMCA instructors.

Friday, September 27th
Yamaha has reserved the track exclusively for the MX Pro Tour on Friday, ensuring riders have ample time and space to evaluate the new MX bikes. The event will be split into two sessions: morning (10:00-12:30) and afternoon (13:30-16:00), with each rider guaranteed at least two 15-minute rides.
The cost is £35 per rider for either the AM or PM session, payable when booking through your dealer. The price includes two full 15-minute sessions and an official Yamaha Paddock Blue t-shirt.

Saturday and Sunday, September 28thand 29th
Saturday and Sunday’s events coincide with Moto101’s open practice days, and MX Pro Tour test rides will be available to any signed-on rider.

To participate, riders must attend the general practice day at Moto101 (moto101.co.uk) and book their test ride with the Pro Tour team upon arrival. Test rides will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
