Round Five Next Up For Gerloff

Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) is soon to take part in the fifth round of the FIM Superbike World Championship at Autodrom Most in Czechia. The American rider is looking for more championship points. He aims for a season-best performance over the three individual races.

Garrett, in his first WorldSBK campaign as a Kawasaki rider, has not tested or raced his Ninja ZX-10RR at the unique Most circuit. Like his Kawasaki WorldSBK Team, he has solid experience of racing there over the previous four seasons. During these, the Czech circuit has featured on the calendar.

After the most recent round of WorldSBK at Cremona in Italy, Gerloff is currently 17th in the overall points standings.

His personal best 2025 season race finish is 12th. Therefore, securing a strong starting position at Most is a priority. Garrett and his crew must focus on this before the race action itself gets underway at this unique venue.

At 4.212km in length, Most is not the shortest circuit on the WorldSBK calendar. However, it is a very good candidate to be the most intense in terms of its layout. The start/finish straight leads into an exceptionally tight and right/left chicane. Then, the circuit weaves and curves across a steep mountainside.

No fewer than 21 corners and kinks are negotiated by the riders over a single lap. Consequently, the venue is laden with character. Most always features an enthusiastic trackside fanbase from not just Czechia but other central European countries.

Track action for the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team begins on Friday, 16 May, during two free practice sessions.

Saturday, 17 May, hosts Free Practice Three, Superpole Qualifying, and finally the first race of the weekend.

It is scheduled for 22 laps. Sunday, 18 May, will feature a short ten-lap Superpole Race. Then, a second 22-lap contest will serve as the finale of the WorldSBK action at Most.
