Silverstone MotoGP review by numbers

100 – This is Ducati’s 100th win in Grand Prix racing, and their 96th in the MotoGP™️ category.

43 – Francesco Bagnaia finished P3, for his 43rd podium in MotoGP™️, all with Ducati. He is now the Ducati rider with the most podiums in the class. 

23 – Jorge Martin finished P2, scoring his 23rd podium in MotoGP, all with Ducati. He is now tied with Loris Capirossi in fourth place on the list of Ducati riders with most podiums in the class, just behind MotoGP™️ Legend Andrea Dovizioso on 40. 

10/10 – Enea Bastianini is the 10th different winner in the last 10 Grand Prix races held at Silverstone, following Jorge Lorenzo (2013), Marc Marquez (2014), Valentino Rossi (2015), Maverick Viñales (2016), Andrea Dovizioso (2017), Alex Rins (2019), Fabio Quartararo (2021), Bagnaia (2022) and Aleix Espargaro (2023). 

7 – With Bastianini winning ahead of Martin and Bagnaia, this is the seventh podium in a row locked out by Ducati – an all-time record for a manufacturer. 

6 – Bastianini took his sixth MotoGP win, his first since Malaysia last year (when he also started from third).

5 – This is Bastianini’s first double (Sprint and Grand Prix wins) since the introduction of the Tissot Sprint format in 2023. He is the fifth rider to do the double along with Bagnaia, Martin, Viñales and A. Espargaro. 

3 – With Marc Marquez in fourth ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio, this is the third Ducati’s 1-2-3-4-5 so far this year along with Jerez and Gemany. 

0 – Brad Binder retired from the race, which is the first the time he failed to score points on a Sunday since Malaysia last year when he crashed out. Prior to this weekend, he was the only rider who scored points in the first nine MotoGP™️ Grand Prix races of 2024.
