LEVELLED UP: Slick Moto Events partners with Helmet City
Track days with Slick Moto Events just got a level-up as they enter an exciting partnership with Helmet City, one of the UK’s biggest motorcycle clothing retailers.
It comes after a successful few years for Slick Moto, hosting avid track day riders across various European circuits – changing the way track days are ran. They have also recently landed an exciting partnership with Ducati UK, hosting 2x Ducati motorcycles as part of their European track days.
Lee and Carla, founders of Slick Moto Events have been on the track day scene for over a decade and operate a tight family-run ship. But it isn’t what you might expect and will probably change the way you prepare for events – the Slick Moto way!
“My phone is never off, but that’s what makes us different. We’re always available, always there to support, from disrupted travel plans or nervous novices – we’re here to support riders every step of the way. From loading the bikes up to getting out on track – we will muck in wherever our guys and girls need us. Our riders enjoyment, safety and comfort is at the forefront of what we do. And why we do it.”
Having been the rider attending track days for many years, Lee knows all too well how small operational parts of track days can make a huge difference…in comes Helmet City.
Helmet City are one of the UK’s largest motorcycle clothing retailers. It only felt right that given their presence in the market they had a chance to get involved in something to support the riders at the events.
Riders will now benefit from being able to use a dedicated VIP area to prepare their motorcycle helmets/safety gear before/after sessions. Particularly helpful in the heat that reaches some of the European rounds. All products will be provided free of charge for riders to use across the booked days as they please. A few less things to have to worry about cramming into your already crammed kitbag! It gives riders the opportunity to try products they’ve had their eye on for a while.
This weekend, the Slick Moto crew are out at Portimao for their second event of 2026.
