

TNT Sports Acquire Eurosport
Media news has shaken this morning following the announcement that TNT Sports acquire Eurosport.
Viewers currently signed up with the Discovery+ app across their streaming devices, were greeted with the following message this overnight.

This new integration will affect users that were paying £6.99 for their Discovery+ subscription. This included coverage of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, WorldSBK and more sports that aren’t of the 2-wheeled nature. Their only option will be a subscription fee of £30.99 per month if they wish to continue streaming.
The news that TNT Sports acquire Eurosport, bringing additional channels to their content catalogue including the Eurosport channels, that brought viewers the likes of Bennetts British Superbike Championship, WorldSBK, cycling, snooker and much more. These will join the TNT Roster that currently hosts MotoGP, Premier League, UFC and others.
Fans across the UK have shared their thoughts and the general feeling is, not great. Comments from the Facebook page viewers have shared just how this will affect their viewing experience. A whopping 98% of the feedback was negative.

There have been various free BSB races to watch for free, on Quest throughout the season. Despite the fact this hasn’t been consistent, it’s better than nothing and is an opportunity to draw in more fans who may not of seen the series before behind the paywall. The statement has said: “New and extended free-to-air sports programming and coverage coming to Quest, available via Freeview and all major television platforms” which may be a saving grace for many.
It will become clear where the home of BSB will be broadcasted towards the start of the season.
