Volojet Tomcat: Our Story of finding happiness through thrills and adventure

Volojet was created by Dalton Winter, a former US Marine and a guy who has a passion of finding fun. We believe with disposable purchasing you need to buy into the brand you’re spending money with. We wanted to share the Volojet story because it truly is a brand worth buying into.

We recently featured the Tomcat, a flagship product from Volojet that turns heads wherever you go. It’s a global product, made in the US using sustainable solutions and materials. The message behind the business is no different, happiness and fun.

“I guess my biggest take away would be that it’s vitally important to be happy. You don’t need to spend a bunch of money, but it’s important that you figure out what makes you happy. Then, prioritise it. Which is why I started Volojet.” Dalton Winter – Founder.

“Another reason for creating the Tomcat is that one of my eyes is bad enough so that I cannot fly military or commercial aviation. The Tomcat is the closest visceral sensation of pure heart-stopping adrenaline that I’ve been able to recreate outside of learning how to fly a tiny helicopter (R22). And outside of carving canyons on a GSXR, but unlike the GSXR I can crank up the adrenaline with much less risk – making it fun vs. nerve wrecking.”

We asked Dalton what his favourite part of the Tomcat was, to give people an insight of what they could look forward to. His answer is absolutely bang on for those who really want the rough and tumble thrill experience. My favourite part of the Tomcat is that it’s not too precious. I used to work at a Harley shop after getting out of the military, and the worst part was trying to work on anything without scratching paint or chrome. The Tomcat is the opposite; it’s super fun and easy to work on.”
