Yamaha Targeting Extended Success Streak at Brands Hatch
As the Bennetts British Superbike Championship heads to Brands Hatch for Round 5 of 2025 this weekend, Yamaha Motor UK are excited for another weekend of battle.
With the championship now close to its halfway milestone, Brad Ray and the Raceways Yamaha crew continue to thrive. They have tallied up an impressive total of nine race wins out of 11 so far this season.
Coming off the back of a double victory at Knockhill, Ray sits at the top of the standings with 192 points.
The former World Superbike rider is yet to finish off the podium in 2025. He is eager to extend his exemplary streak of results.
The weekend ahead is set to bring back positive memories for Ray. He rode to a career-first Bennetts BSB title back in 2022 at the Kent venue.
With his eyes focused forward on achieving a second championship title later this season. The goal under the Raceways Yamaha stable remains to secure another trio of podium finishes, or better.

In 2024, the Nottinghamshire rider clinched his debut Bennetts BSB title in dramatic style. He fought elbow-to-elbow with championship rival, Tommy Bridewell.

In the Pirelli National Sportbike championship, lead R7 rider, Ash Barnes, is looking to bounce back from a challenging weekend at Knockhill.
Despite showing speed and consistently battling at the sharp end, the Lincolnshire rider rode to a best finish of fifth. He finished seventh in Race 1 and took a trip through the gravel in Race 2.
The No.8 Raceways Yamaha rider sits as the highest-placed R7 rider in the standings heading into the fifth round of the season. He is sat seventh overall with the intention of climbing back up the order at Brands Hatch.
A single race lies in the pipeline for Yamaha’s R7 line-up in the Pirelli National Sportbike Championship this weekend. Offering a one-shot opportunity to secure some points for the standings.
